A Trade.

A funny story from my week...

I was teaching a group of students about Native Americans yesterday (dressed as a Native American). A settler from the "Great Republic of Texas" came up to me and my group and propositioned a trade. He offered a bow and a student offered his hair. That's right. I look one way, turn back, and a little 4th grade boy has pulled out strands of his hair in efforts to appease our stranger. Absolutely hilarious. All he did was rub his head for the next few minutes and communicate how much his head hurt. I could not stop laughing for the longest.

Now I'm sitting in a big gymnasium, listening to a shuffled playlist, and anticipating dinner. I hope it's mexican food...
