Tonight I was a judge...dressed in a banana costume...for campers as they waltzed across the red carpet for Best in Show. Campers have to use whatever clothes or props that they can find to fit categories like: bugs, ninjas, nerds, superheroes, camp counselors, and my personal favorite, "miscellaneous surprise."
I witnessed a lady bug that could fly, ninja-girls, a superhero named "Chuck Norris," a duct tape walkie-talkie, and two girls in white doctor jackets with peppers stuck all over. Hence Dr. Pepper.
The kid that took the cake was a boy from the youngest cabin dressed in a onesie as IRONNNNNMANNNNNN. (You have to say that in a deep, drawn out voice). He won the prize over all the boys...and walked up on stage with a Fanta to be recognized.
Best in Show...my favorite. Way to go fun.
